CCCS is approved by the United States Trustees to issue certificates for * Pre-filing Credit Counseling and ** Pre-discharge Education in compliance with the Bankruptcy Code. Our certified counselors work with you to create a detailed financial assessment. Upon completion of the Pre-filing Credit Counseling session, you will receive a certificate of completion. This document proves you received the required counseling under the new law of 2005*. You must complete this counseling 180 days prior to filing a petition for bankruptcy and provide it to the court.
